Q: What was the biggest challenge with making MoldGeist?
A: Drawing the enemy sprites took a lot of effort. I don't usually draw that often but it's fun.
Q: What were your biggest inspirations when designing MoldGeist?
A: For tone, I wanted it to be kinda dark and weird like many other RPG Maker games. For gameplay, I wanted it to
be paced like the first Ys game. I was determined to have a short, challenging game where level-ups and equipment
upgrades were fast.
Q: What would you add if you had more time?
A: I was hoping to have custom sprites for the characters and battle art for them. Wasn't able to get that in time.
Q: Please type your favorite emoticon face.
A: '~`

Art direction in this one is CRAZY good, the combat is pretty fun, and the music choice and sound effects are very inspired. Story is simple and sweet. Love how extra you are with the names of the commands, oozing with personality.
i felt it was inspired very much the Ys games and older Games, with a lot of the art having a lot of soul. I did play in semi-hard mode but otherwise it was very fun
Very good game, the combat is also surprisingly balanced and the monster art is very good. The final part is epic.
I have to say though who is this Ideal "Johnson" Persona? There are no original music so are you sure you want to credit this useless person who got mogged by another contestant in music department?
my fav, very stylish, feels really complete, in a way we're all the little girl in the same way we're the Son from the Trinity
It's been a while since I've played something as RPGmaker as this. Loved the monster sprites and the usage of music, but most of all I loved how I could never tell what was going to happen next in terms of of not just story, but even the overall mood of the game. Good stuff.
I didn't know what to expect but what I got was certainly foopy-core.
I loved this one as a complete little package.
Just confusing and unclear enough at the start to jumpstart some brain power into figuring things out. Once I entered the cavernous mountain, things finally started to click. Loved the ending.
Very fulfilling game with an initially hostile feel that grows into a loving, homey feel.
really great speedrun game
insane that they won’t accept this to speedrun.com
I loved the attention to the design, from the custom monster sprites to the sound design. The combat was also well balanced.
