Subahibi is cool, though I feel like the other games in KeroQ’s catalogue look a lot more interesting. Especially Nijuuei.

superhibi is pretty good, I hope the sakura no uta TL drops someday in the next few years because that game looks sick and I don't really have the time/want to read it in JP

woah... I would never have thought nazrin from touhou project would be into subahibi...

what do you guys think of otogirisou for the super famicom? I love the way it sounds

A lonely, quiet person has observations and experiences that are at once both more indistinct and more penetrating than those of one more gregarious; his thoughts are weightier, stranger, and never without a tinge of sadness. (...) Loneliness fosters that which is original, daringly and bewilderingly beautiful, poetic. But loneliness also fosters that which is perverse, incongruous, absurd, forbidden.

I haven't played it but it's a classic so I wanna hop on it one day, although I'm not really a fan of some other "classics" such as Kamaitachi no Yoru so we'll have to see how I end up feeling about Otogirisou.

Mamiya is okay, only ever read the first half though, it had some great twists but some parts of the story felt overly dramatic, I don't regret my time with it though. I'd love to check out UUUltraC eventually, as well as works from the same developer like Hashihime and Ooe (Ooe looks pretty sick, waiting for the TL on that one)

I'm on Hashihime rn actually and tbh I prefer UUUltraC but I only did 2 out of 5 playthroughs so far. I'm more hyped for the Ooe translation than finishing Hashihime

Yeah Ooe looks super cool, besides Mamiya I haven't really read much yaoi stuff (well, not like mamiya is VERY yaoi but I think it's pretty adjacent) since it isn't exactly an area of specific interest for me, but I have a decent amount I wanna check out someday because the premise is interesting even if I'm not particularly searching out male x male romance (stuff like slow damage, ooe, perhaps even lamento)

Lamento and slow damage are on my to play list too, I feel like a lot of them have good stories even if its yaoi its not the focus of the story so it makes it stronger overall but I would read it even if the story wasn't that good just for the BL. (Togainu no Chi was pretty mid but the art is nice)

I've been reading Muramasa recently too and it's quickly becoming a favorite of mine, I just finished the hero route and it was soooo good, I gotta read more... Otherwise I'm a big fan of Umineko and the House in Fata Morgana, they're sort of basic choices but they are really special. My avatar's from Heaven Will Be Mine which I like a lot but I dunno if it quite reaches those heights, its a personal pick lol

Muramasa is amazing, my second fav VN only under Umineko. Hero route is super baller, I don't like the other route as much (not sure if you've done it or not), but the true route is insanity that eclipses even the Hero route, so it's a great time

I haven't started Nemesis route yet no, but I'm looking forward to it even if most people say its got a little less kick than hero route, Conqueror route I am so curious about, I think everyone's seen the intercourse with a man sized spider image by now lol, can't wait for context
