Q: What was the biggest challenge with making LilyLand?
     A: Programming stuff. I had to take an entire week just to make a single window, then another week
     to make the stuff inside the window actually works. It's made hard because it's not the latest iteration
     of the language so the "official" guide is no use and forum links explaining things are dead. Script is
     also hard to come by and no support since the authors left the forums or unresponsive.

Q: What were your biggest inspirations when designing LilyLand?
     A: Labyrinth of Touhou is the biggest inspiration from the dungeon design and the decision to make
     skills more important than attacking. Other dungeon crawlers like Etrian Odyssey , Labyrinth of
     Refrain, and Operation Babel is also an inspiration. Other inspirations are the Atelier series and
     TTRPGs.

Q: What would you add if you had more time?
     A: More art, portraits, CGs, custom tileset for at least the characters. Skill slot system, more
     weapon/armor types and accessories. The skill shop can also open up more game features like second
     accessory slot. Balancing, obviously. A better battle algorithm that suits my needs more.

Playing this demo, the fog of war gave me that sort of addicting feeling of obsessively completing maps in games like Phantasy Star while also being unique in the way it's presented, it's a great inclusion. The dialogue scattered around is cute, and I really enjoyed the feeling of progression and growth that came with learning new moves and getting better gear. Nice work!

fog of war makes it very fun to play, you should keep working on it, and add some music and lesbian H scenes

I really like the Fog of War as an indicator of progress. Greatswords feel a little overtuned because it's attack does about the same damage as some skills lol. Attachment system is pretty sick too, would love to see more of this.

Really fun gameplay loop and the fog of war is an awesome addition! Most interesting mana system of the jam, I think. I was well invested in staying alive and had to consider the risks when moving deeper. I liked the variety of secrets as well!

This game is poopoohead where's the hot steamy lesbian sex when you go to bed and unlockable H scenes. 0/5.

Very cool game! More games should encourage grinding. A very mechanically sound project too, I like the dungeon crawling gameplay loop and the attachment system.
